These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and the purchase and use of our courses, programmes and digital content (the “Services”). By using this website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use the Services. By purchasing, you confirm that you are 18 or over and that the information you provide is accurate.
The Shift and all related content are educational and personal-development resources based on lived experience, reflective exercises and self-leadership practices. They are not therapy, counselling, medical, psychiatric or psychological advice, diagnosis or treatment, and are not a substitute for professional care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please contact a qualified professional or emergency service. You are responsible for your own wellbeing and for any decisions or actions you take based on the Services.
Personal growth depends on many individual factors. While we share these materials in good faith, we make no promises or guarantees about specific outcomes, results, or benefits. Any examples or testimonials are illustrative and are not a guarantee that you will achieve the same results.
Prices are shown on the website and are payable in pounds sterling (£) unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider; by purchasing, you also agree to their terms. We reserve the right to change our prices and offers at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed. Introductory or limited-place pricing may be time-limited or limited in number.
When you purchase a course or programme, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the content for your own individual use. You may not share, resell, copy, distribute, reproduce, or make the content available to others, whether for free or for payment.
The free resources on this website, including the live workshop, the field guides, the quiz and the newsletter, are free to use, and you can stop using them or unsubscribe at any time. For a paid programme such as Second Act, you have fourteen days from the start of the programme to change your mind. If you tell us within those fourteen days, you get a full refund. When the refund is made, your access to all programme materials ends, including the recordings, booklets, meditations, guides and the private group. After fourteen days, payments are non-refundable, though we will always try to move you to a later group where we can. Where a programme includes digital materials made available to you immediately, your statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations may not apply once you have started accessing them, where you agreed to this at the point of purchase. If you are paying in instalments and you cancel within the fourteen days, any instalments already paid are refunded and no further instalments are taken. After that, the remaining instalments remain due. To discuss any of this, contact us at info@theshift.one. This does not affect your statutory rights.
The Detriggering Kit is a one-off digital purchase. You can ask for a full refund at any time before your full kit has been delivered. Once the kit has been delivered, it is digital content and is not refundable. To request a refund, contact info@theshift.one.
All content on this website and within the Services, including text, workbooks, audios, videos, graphics, branding and the name “The Shift”, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy or reproduce it except as expressly permitted by your licence.
You agree to use the website and Services lawfully and respectfully, and not to misuse them, attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the site, or use the content in any way that infringes the rights of others.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
