Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 January 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and the purchase and use of our courses, programmes and digital content (the “Services”). By using this website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Who we are

This website and the Services are provided by The Shift, Suite 308, 6 Wood Crescent, London, W12 7GS (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can contact us at info@theshift.one.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use the Services. By purchasing, you confirm that you are 18 or over and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. The nature of our Services

The Shift Method and all related content are educational and personal-development resources based on lived experience, reflective exercises and self-leadership practices. They are not therapy, counselling, medical, psychiatric or psychological advice, diagnosis or treatment, and are not a substitute for professional care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please contact a qualified professional or emergency service. You are responsible for your own wellbeing and for any decisions or actions you take based on the Services.

4. No guarantee of results

Personal growth depends on many individual factors. While we share these materials in good faith, we make no promises or guarantees about specific outcomes, results, or benefits. Any examples or testimonials are illustrative and are not a guarantee that you will achieve the same results.

5. Purchases and payment

Prices are shown on the website and are payable in pounds sterling (£) unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider; by purchasing, you also agree to their terms. We reserve the right to change our prices and offers at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed. “Founding cohort” or introductory pricing may be time-limited or limited in number.

6. Access and licence

When you purchase a course or programme, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the content for your own individual use. You may not share, resell, copy, distribute, reproduce, or make the content available to others, whether for free or for payment.

7. Cancellations and refunds

Because our Services include digital content and online course materials made available to you immediately, your statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations may not apply once you have started accessing the content, where you have agreed to this at the point of purchase. We want you to get genuine value from The Shift Method. If you engage with the course fully for the full 30 days and still feel it has not been valuable to you, we will apply the full amount you paid as credit towards any other course or programme we offer, now or in the future. To request this, contact us at info@theshift.one. This credit is offered in place of a cash refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website and within the Services — including text, workbooks, audios, videos, graphics, branding and the name “The Shift” — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy or reproduce it except as expressly permitted by your licence.

9. Acceptable use

You agree to use the website and Services lawfully and respectfully, and not to misuse them, attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the site, or use the content in any way that infringes the rights of others.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices, and including a link does not imply endorsement.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to your use of the website and any purchase you make. We will update the “Last updated” date when changes are made.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Contact

If you have any questions about these Terms, please email info@theshift.one.
